At Forgotten Places Society, we offer spiritual blessings and cleansing services for homes, businesses, and personal spaces. This work blends prayer, anointing oil, herbs, stones, sound, and intuitive discernment gathered through decades of real-world experience. Some cleansings bring immediate peace, while others spark deeper healing that unfolds over time. Either way, our goal is simple: to bring calm where there’s been chaos — not to scare you, shame you, or push anything you don’t need.

People reach out to us for all kinds of reasons. Maybe you’ve felt constant tension in your home, or a heaviness you can’t shake. Maybe you’ve noticed unexplained headaches, nightmares, flickering lights, sudden cold spots, strange smells, whispers, or shadows in your peripheral vision. Maybe you’ve been through trauma, grief, or intense spiritual experiences in your space — or maybe you’re just moving into a new home and want to start with a clean spiritual slate. And sometimes, folks just want their home or business prayed over — nothing more, nothing less. That’s valid too.

We don’t charge for this service. This is spiritual work, not a gimmick. What we do bring is professionalism, prayer, and deep wisdom from years in the field. We’re not trying to impress anybody — we’re here to help restore peace. You don’t have to be religious to reach out; we tailor each experience to your comfort level and always operate with respect. That said, it’s important to know that our blessings and cleansings are heavily Christian in nature — because in our experience, that’s what works best. While we may incorporate symbolic tools from various traditions, prayer is always the foundation. This isn’t a magic trick. It’s a spiritual process — one that works best when done with intention, faith, and follow-through.

  • Not at all. While our team comes from a strong Christian background and prayer is central to our process, we always meet people where they are. You don’t have to believe like we do — you just have to be open. We approach every space with respect and sensitivity.

  • We use a blend of items based on the situation and your comfort level. This may include:

    • Anointing oil

    • Sage or Palo Santo

    • Prayer cloths

    • Holy water

    • Singing bowls or bells

    • Selenite or other crystals

    • Scripture and spoken prayer

  • Nothing. We don’t believe in charging for spiritual care. If you want to bless your space, we’re here to help — not sell you something.

  • Anything from personal issues, family troubles objects that may contain negative energy, hauntings and attachments are some of the most common reasons but it could also be external issues such as stress outside of the home caused by external factors like friends, family, work or any other number of reasons.

  • No, but a pre-existing haunting can definitely feed the negative energy and problems.

  • When we bless a home or cleanse it we can do blessings for both people or objects as well. This is especially useful for spiritual attachments.

  • Yes — we offer in-person blessings and cleansings in our local community (up to 50 miles of Savannah, TN) and surrounding areas when possible. For those farther away, we may be able to guide you remotely or recommend trusted people in your area.

  • It can overlap, but not always. A lot of energy issues aren’t actual hauntings — and some hauntings don’t need full investigations to be resolved. We focus on peace, not proof. That said, if you think something more serious is going on, we’re open to discussing it.
